ACE ExpressSM Umbrella Online Platform

ACE ExpressSM Umbrella provides umbrella insurance through a proprietary web-based platform designed for use by appointed brokers to reserve, quote, bind and issue business, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over 400 classes of business. In addition, the ACE ExpressSM Umbrella online tool is well suited for the development of homogeneous books of business and unique broker specialties. Ask your regional ACE Excess Casualty underwriter about adding your specialty to the suite of industries already available.

  • Multiple quote options with incremental limits and commission
  • Admitted coverage (all states except Alaska, Louisiana and Vermont), even if one or more underlying policies are non-admitted
  • For submissions requiring underwriter review, dedicated experienced referral underwriters with authority to quote an additional 500 classes of business
  • Rapid referral response ( 24 hours voice/email response, 48 hours for referrals,  15 days for endorsement processing)
  • Agency Bill or Direct Bill options available at binding
  • Flexibility in scheduling different types of underlying policies (Ex. Liquor Legal Liability, Garage Keepers, Personal Umbrella, etc.)
  • Streamlined loss information requirements (only  large losses and significant aggregate years)
  • Ability to accept or reject Terrorism – TRIA (TRIPRA) coverage upon binding

Coverage:

  • ACE Catastrophe Management insurance with annual limits up to $250,000 on all policies

Minimums & Limits

  • Minimum premium $500 per million (excluding Terrorism - TRIA (TRIPRA).  Different minimums may apply to specialty classes
  • Limits: $10 million available directly to producers
  • AM Best A-VI minimum rating for underlying insurers
